Sorta like a New York bodega. Lunch is great. Homemade soup. Daily specials, and sandwiches made to order. I have eaten here at least once a week for 15 years. Never had a bad meal. Try their lollipops, snow cone and ice cream. Great on a hot day, or when you have a sore throat. I know there are a lot of different people hanging around, but I have never has an issue. The staff in the kitchen are great. The gals at the registers are funny and pleasant. Great price, and really good fresh homemade food.
I enjoy this family owned business. The food isnt bad as well as close to town. Definitely better than sheetz, as well as the customer service of the owners.
dont normaly do this, but i feel compelled to write this reveiw based on the best dining experience i have had. i drive by the store everyday and have never even thought about stopping in due to the assumption that the store was run by forigeners. one day i decided to stop in and upon walking in i was mesmerized by the elaborate decor i browsed this wonderful establishment bewildered at what i had been missing out on. the store has everything that you need from groceries, deli meats, and cheeses, subs, pizza, and not to mention there saliva inducing chicken. legend has it that there chicken recipe has been passed down since the days of christ. i approached the busty brunette in the deli and ordered a chicken dinner. she took my order with a kind and friendly demeanor.
